Classic dice notation: 3d6+2, 2d20kh1, 4d6dl1. Rolls in your browser using crypto.getRandomValues, so it's fair the way your plastic d20 isn't.

How it works

What this is: Standard dice notation used in tabletop RPGs. NdX rolls N X-sided dice. +M / -M add a flat modifier. khK keeps the K highest; dlL drops the L lowest. So 4d6dl1 is the classic D&D stat roll.
How it works: The notation is parsed with a strict regex; each die is rolled with crypto.getRandomValues (uniform, unbiased). Individual dice are shown so you can audit the roll. Totals take modifiers and keep/drop rules into account.
Worked example: 3d6+2 → [4, 6, 2] + 2 = 14 4d6dl1 → [5, 3, 2, 6] drop [2] = 14 2d20kh1 → [12, 19] keep highest = 19 (advantage)
